“ This was our first place of rest after driving all the way from Playa del Coco (close to Liberia) as it was located right on the main road. It was the perfect choice for a pitstop, with its inviting open-air atmosphere, elegant high ceilings, and large wooden tables - It was pretty as a picture! It's a pretty big sports bar and seems to be the place in Coyote where locals as well as tourists gather to have a few beers, but when we arrived in the early afternoon, we were the only guests. The Costa Rican owner had just opened the bar for service, and once we had refreshed ourselves with some fresh papaya juice, beer, and a few plantain nachos, he talked to us extensively about Costa Rica and gave us some great tips to make our stay in Guanacaste worthwhile. This is also where we found out that there are no sloths here and we will have to drive to Bijagua to see them. ”
